Our program is rooted in traditional Lomilomi, honoring Hawaiian healing traditions while guiding students toward licensure. Community tuition assistance may be available for Native Hawaiians and Native Americans.

Our state-approved Phase One course covers the required 150 hours needed to become a massage apprentice in Hawai‘i.
Students learn basic and intermediate Lomilomi techniques while building a strong foundation in anatomy and physiology.
This course prepares you for the next step toward full licensure through apprenticeship training.

Phase Two provides 420 hours of supervised clinical training toward Hawai‘i massage licensure as an apprentice, including 40 hours of advanced lomilomi.
Typically completed in 6–12 months, depending on your clinic schedule.
Paid apprentice positions may be available for those who meet our standards.
A $100 monthly fee applies starting in the 13th month.

This two-day class focuses on the Three Core Elements of Body Alignment — thorax, cervical, and pelvis — working with the body’s continuous fascial network to restore balance and structural alignment.
Lynn Wind, LMT, is an internationally respected educator with over 40 years of experience. She co-founded the Hawaiian Islands School of Massage and was inducted into the Massage Therapy Hall of Fame in 2011.

This advanced course teaches specialized lomi techniques for the neck. Designed for LMTs with a foundation in lomi or clinical neck work, it focuses on safe and effective approaches to the cervical area.
Students will learn detailed techniques and how to integrate neck lomi into therapeutic or relaxation sessions to help clients with tension headaches, limited mobility, or chronic discomfort.

This 2-days course introduces the foundations of traditional Hawaiian lomilomi in the style of Kumu Dane Silva. Participants will learn portions of the basic full-body routine (prone and supine), proper body mechanics, opening pule, and closing meditation.
Ideal for LMTs new to lomilomi or want to learn our Kumu Dane Silva style.

Lomi noho is a seated form of lomilomi — noho meaning “chair” or “to sit.” Taught in the style of Kumu Dane Silva, this 5-hour CE class introduces upper-body techniques, seated body mechanics, and practical applications for clients who cannot lie on a table, community settings, office work, or events. No special massage chair is required — a regular chair is all you need.

Cancellation Policy
Lomi Service:
We require a 24 hour notice for any changes or cancelations to appointments.
- Less than 24 hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.
- “NO SHOWS” will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount.
- "LATE SHOWS" will be finished at the scheduled time in order to accommodate the next scheduled service. The treatment fee will remain full price.
Workshop/Class
-Deposit is non-refundable.
-Within 7 days before the first day of the class: 50% of class fee requires.
-Within 72 hours: 75 % of class fee requires.
-Within 24 hours: 100% of class fee requires.
