Originally from Tokyo, Japan, Kekai has been studying and practicing lomilomi on Hawaiʻi Island since 2000.
A graduate of the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo's Ka Haka ʻUla O Keʻelikōlani College of Hawaiian Language and Kimana Massage Academy, she was recognized as a kumu lomi by her late kumu, Dane Silva.
She is the owner and instructor of Hale Lomilomi O Kekaimalino, where she teaches hands-on lomilomi.

Nancy is a lomilomi therapist, educator, and the author of Hawaiian Lomilomi: Big Island Massage.
She founded two massage schools and taught in the New Zealand Diploma of Therapeutic Massage program.
At Hale Lomilomi O Kekaimalino, she teaches Anatomy & Physiology and helps prepare the next generation of massage therapists.
Her specialties include lomi ʻiliʻili (hot stones), aromatherapy, foot reflexology, and the care and prevention of athletic injuries.
Nancy holds a New Zealand National Diploma in Adult Education and Training, became NCTMB approved in 1994, and was inducted into the World Massage Festival Hall of Fame in 2013.

Melody completed her massage training and apprenticeship at Hale Lomilomi O Kekaimalino, specializing in lomilomi massage and aromatherapy lomi.
In addition to massage therapy, Melody draws from her Filipino ancestry as a practitioner of hilot, an ancient Filipino healing art focused on deep spiritual, physical, and emotional restoration.

Our haumāna (students) are apprentice massage therapists currently participating in the supervised clinical training required for Hawaiʻi massage licensure. They have completed foundational training in lomilomi and provide sessions under the guidance of our licensed kumu (instructors).
